CA SCHOOL EMPLOYEES ASSN. ENDORSES HOLOBER FOR ASSEMBLY

(Burlingame, CA) The California School Employees Association (CSEA) representing 230,000 classified school employees at public schools and community colleges announced the endorsement of Democrat Richard Holober for State Assembly in the 19th District.

Richard Holober is the education candidate in this race. He has now earned the endorsement of every statewide organization representing public school and higher education classroom teachers, faculty and staff. His endorsers include the California Teachers Association, the California Federation of Teachers, the California Faculty Association and the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges.

Richard Holober is the President of the San Mateo County Community College Board. He served as an elected member of the Millbrae School Board prior to being elected to the San Mateo County Community College Board in 1997.

"Richard Holober understands public education," said Rob Feckner, CSEA President, "Richard's fourteen years of experience as a Community College Trustee and School Board member in San Mateo County will make a huge difference for our schools. With term limits, it is essential that we elect education leaders like Richard Holober to protect our schools from devastating budget cuts."

CSEA represents classified employees at fifteen school districts in the 19th Assembly District, including the Belmont - Redwood Shores, Brisbane, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Millbrae, San Bruno Park, and San Mateo - Foster City School Districts, the Jefferson and San Mateo Unified High School District, the Cabrillo, La Honda - Pescadero, and South San Francisco Unified School Districts, the San Mateo County Office of Education and the San Mateo County Community College District.
