The California Federation of Teachers recently voted to endorse Richard Holober for the state Assembly. This endorsement is particularly meaningful as this distinguished organization of educators represents 120,000 members throughout California, including thousands in San Mateo County.

CFT President Marty Hittelman announced why they are supporting Richard Holober: "Richard Holober - an experienced school board and college board member - has the expertise and commitment to education that we need in the Legislature. That's why educators throughout California support Richard Holober for State Assembly. He'll fight for our schools and colleges."

Holober stated that he is running for the State Assembly because education is the key to our future.

Having served for 14 years as an elected local school board member and San Mateo County Community College Trustee. Holober is working hard to improve the quality of education from kindergarten through college.

Holober said "I've learned that so much of what we can deliver locally in education is determined in Sacramento. As a member of the State Assembly, I would be in a position to fight for more funding and support for our schools. I plan to use my experience to promote innovation and excellence in our schools - because our children and grandchildren deserve the best."
